Mazda Mazda 3 Trims
We finally have full details of the all-new fourth-generation Mazda3 to help us decide which one of these magnificent cars to go for. As before, there are two versions of the 2019 Mazda3, which are the regular four-door sedan and the stunning five-door hatchback. As we've been shown plenty of images of the car ahead of it landing with dealers, let's take a closer look at the actual 2019 Mazda3 trim levels; available at Yarmouth Mazda.
2019 Mazda3 GX
The GX is the entry level version of the all-new fourth-generation Mazda3, but terms like "entry level" and "base" seem unheard of for a car as attractive and as well-equipped as this. Of course, to get to a starting price as low as $18,000 with standard features including LED front headlights and rear combination tail lights, G-Vectoring Control Plus, air conditioning, remote keyless entry, push button start, power features, and an 8-way manually adjustable driver’s seat is an added perk. The engine is a 2.0-litre four-cylinder developing 155 horsepower and 150 lb.-ft. of torque, which comes mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The infotainment system is excellent for an entry model as it's Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ compatible.
2019 Mazda3 GS
The GS is the middle of the three available trim levels and it's based on the GS with the Convenience Package. On top of that though, the GS adds features such as 16-inch alloy wheels, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, automatic wipers, dual-zone automatic climate control, and Mazda's i-ACTIVSENSE suite of advanced safety features. Opting for the GS also allows buyers to upgrade to the more powerful SKYACTIV-G 2.5-litre engine with cylinder deactivation, and the additional capability of all-wheel drive is also available. Prices for the Mazda3 GS start from $22,700.
2019 Mazda3 GT
Perhaps the biggest feature of the top GT trim level is the 2.5-litre engine, which is optional for the GS and develops 186 horsepower and 186 lb.-ft. of torque. As well as all the standard features of the GS, the GT ups the standard equipment ante with features including 18-inch alloy wheels, a premium Bose 12-speaker sound system, adaptive front lighting. Available options for the top trim level include leather upholstery, power adjustment for the seats, smart brake support-rear, keyless entry and ignition, navigation, a head-up display and satellite radio. Prices for the 2019 Mazda3 GT start from $26,200.
Buyers who prefer a five-door hatch instead of a sedan, or those who have just fallen for the stunning looks of the new hatchback, also have the 2019 Mazda3 Sport. It's available in the same three trim levels as the sedan but the specifications are a little different and so are the prices.
